Green Acres raises beef cattle and meat goats. Our beef cattle are Dexters, a small, hardy breed known for lean, dense beef, and the more common Angus. Our pastures are still in the process of transition from woodland a few short years ago, favoring the Dexters who can live on meagre forage. While more productive, Angus need lush pastures to support their growth.
